Business Skills Migration

The majority of business entrants will enter Australia on a 4 year temporary visa, generally moving onto permanent residence after 2 years after they have fulfilled their business obligations.

This option is for the following people:

1. Business Owners

1. Who have a successful business career.
2. Commitment to be an owner in a new or existing business in Australia.

2. Senior Executives

• Senior executive employees of a major overseas business.
• Significant net assets.
• Genuine commitment to participate in the management of a new or existing business in Australia.

3. Investors

• Who have a successful business or investment career.
• Genuine and realistic commitment to be involved in investing or business in Australia.

Business Skills visas are for people who intend to establish and participate in a business in Australia that can achieve at least one of the following:

1. Develop business links with international markets
2. Create or maintain employment in Australia
3. Export Australian goods
4. Produce goods or services that would otherwise be imported
5. Add to commercial activity and competitiveness within sectors of the Australian economy

State / Territory sponsored

There is also a range of business visas in the State / Territory sponsored categories which have more relaxed criteria, with regards to age, and financial requirements, thereby making them easier to qualify for.
