Bondi Migration’s Terms and Privacy
Terms of Service
These terms summarise how Bondi Migration Pty Ltd (ABN 37 600 208 231) works with clients. When you engage us, you’ll sign a written Agreement for Services, which sets out the full terms for your matter. If anything on this page differs from your signed agreement, the agreement applies.
Registered and regulated
Our migration agent is registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) and must follow the Code of Conduct for registered migration agents. Before we begin work, we will give you a copy of the OMARA Consumer Guide.
Fees
Our fees are listed on our Fees page. Before we start, we’ll give you a written estimate of our professional fees and any other costs. Government visa application charges, skills assessment fees, medical, police check, translation and other third-party costs are separate and are paid to those bodies.
Payment
Fees are payable in instalments as set out in your Agreement for Services, usually before each stage of work begins. Money paid in advance is held in our clients’ account until the work it covers is done.
Consultation and assessment fees
The consultation fee ($363) and immigration assessment fee ($550) are credited toward our professional fees if you proceed with an application with us.
Cancellation of appointments
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a consultation. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full.
Ending our engagement
You can end our engagement at any time by telling us in writing. You’ll pay only for the work completed up to that point, and we’ll refund any money we hold for work not yet done. We may end the engagement if, for example, you give us false or misleading information, ask us to act unlawfully, or don’t pay agreed fees. If this happens, we’ll tell you in writing and explain any deadlines you need to know about.
Refunds
If we don’t provide the services you’ve paid for, we’ll refund the fees for that unfinished work. A visa refusal is not by itself grounds for a refund of fees for work properly done. Government charges are set and refunded by the Department of Home Affairs under its own rules, not by us.
No guarantee of outcome
Visa decisions are made by the Department of Home Affairs. We’ll give you honest advice about your prospects, but no one can guarantee a visa will be granted.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give us complete, accurate and truthful information and documents, tell us promptly about any change in your circumstances, and meet the deadlines we give you. Providing false or misleading information to the Department can lead to visa refusal or cancellation.
Concerns and complaints
If you’re unhappy with our service, please contact us first at enquire@bondimigration.com.au and we’ll try to resolve it. If it isn’t resolved, you can make a complaint to OMARA at www.mara.gov.au. Making a complaint will not affect your visa application.
OMARA Consumer Guide
Read the OMARA Consumer Guide (PDF). The guide is also available in many other languages on the OMARA website.
